The
annual summer solstice festival & parade, (see pics from 2007 - here) arrived to it a little late and
started
watching
about a third of the way through the parade. It's a family
participation event. No motorized vehicles are allowed. The theme is
usually new age mystical sun worship + fun & humor.
Received
a blessing from a new age priest as we arrived. 
There
are always children having fun. 
There
were many group efforts with their own individual themes
These guys had a
skit about the evils of corporate american dominating the world and
causing us to be consumed by the sun.
